The Swiss Tavel Pass does not contain the passport number. It is valid showing your first & last name as well as your date of birth.
The STP does not have to be activated; it becomes automatically valid at 00:00 of the first day of validity.
Note: Your pass is named Swiss Travel Pass, it has been renamed a few years ago; previously, it was called Swiss Pass. Nowadays, Swiss Pass is a product for residents.
