Due to construction work, the Simplon line will be completely closed between Verbania and Premosello from September 15 to 17, 2023. Consequently, the EC trains will be cancelled between Domodossola and Milano during this period and will be partially replaced by buses.
→ All EC trains will be cancelled on the Domodossola - Milano section. Between Domodossola and Milano EC buses of Trenitalia will operate. The replacement buses will stop in Stresa analogous to the original train.
→ The EC 51, 53, 57, 59 and 50, 52, 54 and 56 will run between Domodossola and Basel SBB or Frankfurt according to the timetable.
→ Between Domodossola and Geneva, only EC 35 and 39 or EC 36/46 and 42/44 will operate. All other EC will be cancelled between Milano and Geneva.
