[Info] Pontresina - Tirano: line closure from 19 November 2023 to 25 November 2023
Due to construction work, the line between Pontresina and Tirano will be closed to rail traffic from Sunday, 19 November until and including Saturday, 25 November 2023.
The Bernina Express (train no. 951 / 952) will operate normally between Chur and Pontresina. Replacement buses will be used on the closed section of the route (Pontresiona to Tirano).
Timetable Bernina Express 951 (Chur - Tirano):
- Chur - Pontresina: Operates as BEX 951
- Pontresina - Tirano: Operates as replacement bus 3951
→ The online timetable has been adjusted accordingly. Seat reservations can still be made.
Please be aware that the Bernina Panorama Winter offer will also be affected by the partial line closure. Consequently, the regional trains will be operating without panorama cars during the closure.
