School Travel discount for International students

Hi,

We are bringing a group of international school students from Mexico to Switzerland in October. During this trip, we will be using public transport to visit various locations throughout Switzerland for educational purposes. it possible to use the schools day pass with students from a overseas school, or is it only applicable for students resident in Switzerland? Similarly, is the group discount option on available to Swiss residents?

If it is possible, can one book the tickets without the students being present, as I am aware that the booking must be done a couple of days beforehand, as well as the booking needing to be made in person?

Are you referring to the Day Pass for Schools for CHF 15.-? If the conditions are respected, this is possible.
You will find all the information and the conditions under the following link (under Offer & Prices). Seats must also be booked at least 2 days before departure.

The special ticket cannot be ordered online, you have to go to the ticket office to register. You can order the tickets yourself, the number of passengers will be checked on the train.
