Air Rail Ticket Validity

Hello, I have a boarding pass from SWISS from Zurich Airport to Geneva Airport (LX7472 | IC5 at 8:48).

My question is, am I allowed to take a later train on the same route of the same day, e.g. IC5 at 11:48?

On the SWISS website, they say

Your SWISS Air Rail boarding pass is valid on all connections on the relevant route on the day of your flight. The only exceptions are SWISS Air Rail connections from Munich Central Station (München Hbf) and Bregenz (in this case your boarding pass is only valid on the specific train you booked).

I’d like to know the rules from the SBB side if possible. Thanks!

Yes, you are allowed to take also later trains for the same itinerary. See here:

The departure time is shown on your boarding pass. Please check the current timetable on sbb.ch or the SBB Mobile app before your departure to take account of any possible changes to the timetable. Your SWISS Air Rail boarding pass is valid on all connections on the relevant route on the day of your flight. The only exceptions are SWISS Air Rail connections from Munich Central Station (München Hbf) and Bregenz (in this case your boarding pass is only valid on the specific train you booked).
