Point to point ticket travel area validity

Hi, If I buy a ticket from Kloten to Zurich HB for 24 hour return journey, this covers zones 110 and 121, but this will still be considered point to point ticket, correct? Can I travel to other places within the same zones, using same ticket or is it limited till Zurich HB only? For example, can I take a tram to Zurich lake after HB using same ticket?

A zone ticket is not a point-to-point.

With a zone ticket you can travel back and forth within zones 110 and 121 during ticket validity; the destination printed on the tickets do not matter and only serve as information.
