Can foreigners with tourist visa purchase 1-month GA Travelcard?

My family will come to Switzerland and stay here for about 1 month. Because I have a Swisspass card, I can easily buy 1-month GA Travelcard online for myself. I am wondering whether visitors holding a Swiss tourist visa (from non-EU/EEA countries) can apply for Swisspass? And therefore, can also apply for the 1-month GA travelcard?

Yes you can. With a subscription purchase on the SwissPass you automatically receive the SwissPass card.

FatimaH Thank you for the answer, FatimaH. Just for clarification, the 1-month GA is intended for my family with the tourist visa. I am guessing my family have to go to the SBB office and purchase the 1-month GA there (with a passport and passport-size photo)? The reason they prefer the 1-month GA is because it is cheaper compare to the Swiss Travel Pass. For 1 month, Swiss Travel pass is 858 CHF (15 days × 2), but GA 1 month trial is 420 CHF.

Yes that is correct. The photo can also be sent electronically. The SwissPass card will then be sent to the Swiss home address within 10 days (if the photo is ok).
