Swisspass travel card for the first time

I will be arriving on the 31st of august in Switzerland and I’m trying to buy the GA travelcard. i will be living and working so I already verified this is the pass that I want.

I have 2 questions.

When buying the card will be delivered to the designated address but until I arrive there I can’t have it. Can I travel with the pdf provided when you buy it? If so, do I need to print it or in the phone is enough?

I read there is a 6 month permanence. Can I switch between monthly suscriptions? For example, if my conditions change and I find the half pass a better option.

Thank you for your request.

The SwissPass card with your subscription will be delivered to the address indicated. If you buy it at a staffed counter, you will receive a transitional SwissPass directly. You will be able to show this transitional SwissPass to the ticket inspector on the train. The minimum subscription period is 6 months correct. The subscription can not be exchanged or canceled earlier.
