Hi,

I’m an international traveler coming from USA. I’m planning to travel from Innsbruck, Austria to Zurich, Switzerland via train and also planning to buy a half fare card. Can I use my half fare card to purchase discounted ticket for this journey on the SBB website? On the SBB website it shows me option of using "half fare card ½/3years’, does that mean I need to have a half fare card which is valid for 1 year? I’m planning to purchase half fare card which is valid for 1 month as I’ll be in Switzerland for just 6 days. Please advice on which travel card is best for my journey.

You can choose the “half fare card ½/3years” discount card when you purchase your ticket on the SBB website. This subscription entitles you to the same discount.
