Arcobaleno abo on EuroCity trains

Hello,

I subscribed for an annual Arcobaleno Transfrontaliera ticket, by the way I’m not sure if it’s valid also on EuroCity trains, as they all stop in both my departure and arrival stations.
Probably not but couldn’t find this info anywhere.

Thank you for your enquiry.

In Switzerland, the tickets are valid in all means of transport of the Arcobaleno tariff association (SBB in all train categories). On international EC trains, they are only valid to/from Chiasso.

In Italy, they are not valid on IC, IC-Plus, ICN, EC, ES*, ES*-City, TBiz and AV trains. They are only valid on regional services there.
