I am a foreign traveller departing from Zurich to Barcelona then flying back into Switzerland via Basel to explore more of the country. I would like to know whether I need a multi day pass during the period that I am away if my luggage is getting transported via the SBB rail or if I just need a valid ticket on the day I leave my luggage with SBB and a new ticket when I pick it up?
As I will be out of the country for a few days, how many days may I leave my luggage at Basel rail station before I must pick it up? And does anyone know how much it would approximately cost?
