Day Pass for friends and trial half fare card

Hello All,

Would like to enquiry we are from Malaysia and will travel to Switzerland from 12-21 Aug 22 may i know are we entitle to purchase day pass for friends?

If yes can we buy the day pass for friends from the SBB apps and for the trial half fare card we will print out the voucher and purchase it from the counter?

Lastly, let’s say we have 3 person all the 3 persons entitled to buy trial half fare card? And we don’t need to buy the CHF120 half fare card right?

No, the day Pass for Friends can only be purchased if everyone already has a half fare travelcard: Day Pass for Friends conditions | SBB

May I clarify if refer to the below, when we purchase Day Pass for Friends we will receive the coupon to buy Trial Half Fare card, is my understanding correct?

Trial Half Fare Travelcard for CHF 33.

When you purchase the Day Pass for Friends, you will also receive a Rail Bon for a two-month Trial Half Fare Travelcard for the price of CHF 33. Simply redeem it at a staffed public transport point of sale by 31 August 2022 or download the voucher and present it together with the Day Pass for Friends when making the purchase.
