Half fare Card & Bernina Express booking

Hi, i’m travelling from 19 May -1 Jun 2022 to switzerland. I’m planning to purchase half fare travelcard & booking bernina express with half price using the same discount. Can i purchase half fare travelcard & book bernina express on the same day via online?

Thank you for your query.

A reservation is required for the BerninaExpress. You can buy this only in a SBB counter or by phone with credit card: 0848 44 66 88.

You can buy the half-fare and train ticket online.

Hi FatimaH, i need to purchase the half fare card before making reservation for the BerninaExpress. Is the online system allow to purchase half-fare card and ticket for the BerninaExpress at the same time?

Aside, the one month half fare travelcard is valid from 19 May- 18 Jun? Is it Based on the first day i use right?

You can’t do all at the same time.

First, you can purchase the haf-fare travelcard here: Swiss Half-Fare

You will be able to choose the first day of validity for your travelcard.

Then you can call us, so that we can make the reservation for you on +41 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.) or if this number doesn’t work, try please +41 51 225 78 00.

is half fare travelcard the same as swiss half fare card? as for booking ticket the saver day passes only can be used for half fare travel card? which discounted ticket should I buy to get discount with swiss half fare card?

Hi SBB, I Have received Swiss Half Fare Card (PDF Copy) via email, is the printing copy recognized to be use for all ticket purchases?
