Swiss Family Card

I have bought the Swiss Half Fare Ticket, but didnt manage to add my child name in it, for the complimentary Swiss Family Card. Please advise how do add my child name in it & get the swiss family card online?

Also, when i purchase the train tickets, do I need to add my child name in the ticket (even though they travel free under the swiss family card)??

The child must be registered under the travelers before the purchase is completed, so that the Swiss Family Card can be obtained directly. No changes can be made after the booking is completed. You can apply for the Swiss Family Card at an SBB railroad counter upon arrival in Switzerland or make a new purchase with the Swiss Family Card and apply for a refund of the first booking at www.sbb.ch.
