When walking inside the train station, it often takes long for EasyRide to get the location. Sometimes several minutes. It happen already that it did not find before I had to get into the train.
In order to prevent discussions with train conductors and headaches to clients and SBB support, here some suggestions to improve EasyRide usage:
Would not be possible to have the possibility to add manually the departure station (needs an offline list of stations, as this also takes usually long to charge) and start the ride? This way there is no more excuses not to start EasyRide before embarking the train due application slowness.
Or even have a possibility that the App starts to detect where the person is as soon as we open the app, not only when going to the EasyRide App.
A third suggestion is to use the Bluetooth information from “OnBoard information” feature to accept late activation from EasyRide (user needs to accept that the app scans bluetooth). With that it knows where and when we embark the train.
This to say, I find completely unfair that there is no workaround to slowness of the current EasyRide and general SBB Application for buying tickets.
