Kids annual pass linked to parents main pass?

I am hoping someone can clarify for me, my oldest son has changed from an annual travel paper ticket to an actual Swiss Pass card. Me and his mother are divorced so she has the actual card.

Will my son’s travel pass be on my card (as a linked account) in case there are inspectors on the train? How can I safely travel without the physical card as my ex wife has it?
