Can Tourist use buy this type of Super Day Pass

Hi there,

I would like to check if tourist able to buy ticket as such:

Super Day Pass: For all public Transport in the GA Travelcard area of validity; valid from xxx until 5am on xxx. No refunds.

Do I need to have GA Travelcard first in order to be able to purchase this type of ticket?

Yes, you can buy Save Day Passes as a tourist, that’s no problem.

Forget the GA, you don’t need it. A GA costs CHF 3,860.00 per year at the normal price and gives our customers free travel throughout the country using most means of transport.

What you could consider, however, is a Swiss Half-Fare Card, which entitles you to buy tickets (and also saver day tickets) at a cheaper price for an entire month as a tourist. You can find more information here: Swiss Half-Fare Card

Thank you so much for the reply. Yes, we are considering getting the Swiss Half-Fare Card instead of Swiss Pass because it works out cheaper for us to cover our entire trip that covering Luzern, Lauterbrunnen, Zermatt, and Zurich.

Can I check for the Swiss Half-Fare Card purchase, since I am staying overseas, is it through the online method only and the card will be in PDF form?

I am asking this because I will be heading out to Munich, Germany from Zurich. And I notice a sign that a physical card might be required for the Half-Fare price. So when I am Zurich Airport, can I request a physical card with a PDF form as a proof of my purchase?
