Hello there kind person.

I was looking to purchase a yearly abonnement general for switzerland and my child is currently 15 turning 16 in june. If i were to purchase a junior GA card for the year would it still be valid until it expires or would it need to be “upgraded” to a youth travel card upon turning 15?

Thank you for your query.

If you buy the annual subscription, it remains valid for the whole year. If it is purchased in the monthly price, the rate changes automatically after the 16 age year.
