Hi,

We are in a town outside Zurich that doesn’t have ticket machines at the bus stops. So the kids use multipack tickets and stamp their ticket when they board the bus to go to Zurich for school and back. But we’re starting to notice that our buses don’t have ticket stamp machines… and so far I’ve noticed it on the newer buses, and that leads me to believe stamp machines are going away gradually or at least in our area.

Is there another way the kids can get their multitickets stamped? Or is the only option to have them pay everytime there is no stamp machine or print out paper tickets for them everyday (neither are ideal). The older one is 10 and does not have a phone so we cannot use the mobile app.

Bus topics are not the main concern of our community as SBB does not operate buses. I suggest to address your issue to the bus service provider in question (or to ZVV).

As a general advice, the bus driver should be able to validate/stamp the ticket, especially when stamp machines on the bus are absent.
