Travelling with kids thorugh Switzerland for 1 day

Hello!

We are looking forward to our travel through Europe by train this summer and have the following question:

We will travel Zürich - Chur - Tirano within one day.

What will be the best way to buy tickets for a family of four, the kids are 7 and 10 years old?
For us adults a Saver Day Pass seem to be the best obtion, but what tickets should we get for the kids? Can we obtain a Swiss Family Card although only travelling in Sweitzerland for one day.

The Swiss Family Card is only valid if you also purchase an offer from Swiss Travel System. If you buy Saver Day Passes for yourself then the best solution for the children is to buy the Children’s Day Pass if it is only for 1 day.
