May I change Saver Day passes to Swiss Travel Passes?

My friends will visit me at the end of this September and I got 6 Saver Day passes for them.

However, I just found out that the Saver Day passes cannot offer discounts for many mountain cable cars and trains that we plan to do. I wonder if I can get a refund for these day passes and change them to the 6-day Swiss Travel Pass.

I wonder if I first got the 6-day Swiss Travel Pass with exactly the same first name, surname, and birthday, does my case match the first refund condition of “Purchased twice”?

It is recommended to first check and compare the ticket options before buying a ticket, and then find out that another ticket would have been more beneficial. The Swiss Half Fare Card might be even more beneficial.

You can ask for a refund using the “Purchased twice” option, provided the 6-day Swiss Travel Pass with exactly the same first name, surname, and birthday. Simply note, for each request, you will pay an administration fee of CHF 10.

In my case, I think the Swiss Travel Pass is more suitable because we also plan a lot of train travel.

Thanks for your information about the refund. However, I got a message from SBB after I filled out the refund form following your suggestion:

"Thank you for your query.

An exchange, alteration or refund of the order 54041109544 is no longer possible.

Saver Day Passes that you purchase in the SBB Mobile app or on SBB.ch while logged in can be refunded/exchanged free of charge within 30 minutes of the time of purchase. Once those 30 minutes have elapsed, Saver Day Passes cannot be refunded or exchanged as a basic principle.
