There are previous questions about this question but those were like 4-5 years ago, I’m asking again just to make sure.
When trying to create a 3 day route in Switzerland, in the last day I plan to start in Zurich, go up to Rigi Kulm but on Google maps and sbb’s timetables, when I make a search for Arth Goldau - Rigi Kulm it comes up with cable car only so the first question is:
1. can I go up to and go down from Rigi Kulm with day pass? Are all cable cars included within day pass or only Rigi’s cable cars are included? and is the cable car only way to go up Rigi.
2. there are also some local bus lines in some towns. are they included within the day pass too? for example, there seems to be a bus line from thun railway station to Schadau Park and its tickets are sold by stibus.
3. What do I need to know about “seat reservations”. Do I have to make seat reservations prior to the trip even with day pass?
4. My last question is that, I start 1 day in Bern and come down to Interlaken, do all sorts of activities in Interlaken and go to Zurich from there. In the meantime, I plan to use the lockers in Interlaken Ost station for my luggage. Is there like a daily pass for lockers too? For example, can I use the lockers in Interlaken and Zurich paying only once?
