How does the seven25 pass work after 5 am?

If I get on a train at 4.30, and arrive at 5.30, then as far as I understand I do not need to buy a separate ticket. But what if I need to change trains? Do I need to buy a ticket if I change trains at 5.30?

The seven25 subscription is valid from 19h00 until 5h00 following day. If you take a train with departure before 19h00 or after 5h00, you’ll need a normal train ticket. If you take a train before 5am, you have to buy a ticket from the next station (where the train stops after 5am), even if you don’t change the train.

Phrasing is confusing.

Point 6.1.2.1 of this 2022 AllianceSwissPass document means you would have to take a ticket as of the stop from which the stop after would be reached after 5:00 (on weekdays).

For example, take the RegioExpress 18401 from Geneva to Lausanne on a weekday below.

You would have to take a ticket as of Morges because from Morges your train would arrive at the next stop after 5:00.
