Details on Swiss Travel Pass

Hi all, I purchased the Swiss Travel Pass for me and my husband from Klook, a third party website I’ve used for bookings previously. We’ve already received the PDF of the passes with QR code, they also show out names and date of birth. However, our passport numbers are not on this. Will this be a problem with travelling through Switzerland? I read somewhere online that we need to “validate” these passes ourselves by writing our passport number on the printed paper and signing it. Is this true or false information? It seems a little strange that we would have to do this.

Thank you for your query.

For each passport, your first and last name, passport number and signature are required for the card to be valid. If you have a Swiss Tavel Pass Flex, you must enter the date in the blank field before each day of travel (note: only valid for the selected travel period). For further questions, please contact your point of sale directly (Klook).
