The SBB system never seems to issue point-to-point bike tickets, only the Day Pass. Why is this?

From where to where? Maybe the Day Pass is cheaper?

Example: Rolle > Sedrun = Bike Day Pass. But Reichenau > Sedrun (much shorter) = also a Bike Day Pass.
Does the system automatically issue a point-to-point ticket if it’s cheaper?

willmow Yes. Reichenau > Sedrun (½) = CHF 15.50. The Bike Day Pass is cheaper.
