Swiss Family Card & Ticket Booking

Hi,

I’ll travel to Switzeland with my daughter who is 12 years old. I’ve bought a Swiss half fare travel card for me and Swiss family card’ve been issued free (Children aged 6 - <16 years travel free as long as they are accompanied by at least one parent). So when I book my tickets on SBB website or mobile app, do I have to buy tickets for my child?

If you already have the Swiss Family Card, you don’t need to buy other tickets (for trips within Switzerland) for your daughter because she can travel with the Swiss Family Card.
