Transfer a ticket purchased for another person

Hello, i purchased 3 day saver tickets - 1 for me, 1 for my wife and 1 for my son. the three tickets are shown on my SBB app. how do i transfer the tickets for my wife and son to their SBB apps? thanks.

This is not possible.

The only way to share tickets is by forwarding a screenshot of the ticket’s QR code by What’s app message or other app. Or, you forward them the purchase confirmation e-mail which is sent after each successful purchase and also includes the QR code.

Using e-tickets needs the ID or passport of the person travelling. They must be presented physically (no photos) together with their tickets upon ticket inspection.

Thanks Roland. Seems to me that SBB need to update their systems here. It’s crazy that I can’t give the e-tickets to the people who I bought the tickets for and whose names are on the tickets!

This is not provided, for security reasons.

You can link your account with their SBB Mobile app on their mobile phones, so they can access their tickets. An account can be linked with up to three SBB Mobile apps.
