I am trying to go through the identity check for the Swiss Pass. Even though I enter my US mobile number in correct format I never received an SMS text with the verification code.

Why would you need an ID check?
Are you a tourist? The SwissPass is primarily a resident offer.

RolandP Thanks Roland, it was not clear who/when one needs a SwissPass. I am planning a 7-day trip with my wife to Switzerland this summer and exploring options for affordable rail/boat travel and attraction. I see there are Half Fare Plus, Saver Day Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card, Swiss Travel Pass. So, which one will be the best?
