The tram 3 from Albisrieden to Klusplatz keeps departing 1 minute or 2 minutes before the scheduled departure time (at stop Siemens). This is extremely frustrating when you are planning to get to the stop right on time and then have to sprint to the tram when it comes much too early…
I would understand if the tram proceeded to wait until the scheduled time to depart but this is never the case and the drivers do not wait for people clearly running and intending to take that specific tram even when it is still 1 or 2 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Is there some sort of perverse incentive for tram drivers to be AHEAD of schedule? Because for a public transport system it does not make sense to not follow the schedule…
