Hello Kaichikai11
Please kindly note, this is a customer support forum run by volunteers, we are not the SBB customer service. If you want to complain officially, please use the official channels to get in contact with SBB, being by phone 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min, waiting times may occur), or by contact form which is available here:

Here is my personal view on the topic:
SBB is about to extend and modernise the infrastructure between Lausanne and Geneva, engineering work that is essential to assure the constant increase in services on this line and their punctuality in the future. The engineering work will last for years and has a major impact on the customers, SBB is aware of it and tries to limit the impacts as good as possible.
Customers have been made aware of delays and service interruptions during the engineering work, the topic has been communicated broadly; if you read the newspapers available in French-speaking Switzerland, the line upgrade has been a major topic in the media, I read all of them.
When you purchase a public transport ticket, the transport companies assure to get you from A to B on the same day, they are forced to do so by law; however, there is no promise on the punctuality.
When you buy a ticket, the transport company guarantees to transport you from A to B on that day; they are obliged to do so by law. Punctuality is not part of the contract; there are compensation measures for this.
Nevertheless, you are obliged to buy your ticket punctually and correctly, because you are using a transport service, even if you arrive late. You cannot put the ticket obligation in relation to the lack of service. If you are travelling the same route by car and end up in a traffic jam and are consequently late, nobody will pay you any compensation.
When people post here because they are dissatisfied with the SBB services, they write their opinion in one post and wait for the response. You, on the other hand, have commented on several posts and spread bad vibes. This is not how we want to communicate with each other. I didn’t want to embarrass you and didn’t ask you publicly to refrain from doing so, but sent you a friendly private message asking to tell us about your experience because our intention is to help. You, again, are now exposing me by posting my message as a screenshot. For me, you are lacking any respect.
Sincerely yours,
Roland
