Perhaps I should have said it didn’t grow in proportion to the actual demand and population.

Ps it is not the best rail in Europe or at least not anymore.
This is not about relaxing and taking a deep breath it’s about being prepared and ask for changes so that next generations can continue to benefit from a transportation system that yes at one point was one of the best in The world.
Not anymore and that is something all Swiss should worry about, as punctuality, reliability and dependability have always been staples of the nation.
My brother in law was stuck without being able to get home outside of Zurich
No replacement trains or buses were sent and movement was resumed 24 hrs later
Mind you that was at 10 pm at night.
He had to call my mother in law in TG to go get him in Zurich and get him home!
But how many people do not have that as an option? This is not about being perfect.
This is about being accountable and responsible for the consumer and upholding the values that have always characterised this great nation.
I am very happy to hear non of this has ever happened to you, I hope it continues that way.
