Door to Door Express Luggage Transfer

I need express luggage transfer from hotel to hotel from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen/Wengen. The hotel choices come up for booking the transfer but the I read that it can’t be done since it’s a car free zone in Wengen, only cable car to get there. So which is it? Again, it allows me to book it but, I don’t want to unless I’m sure it can be done. I also need a second transfer from Wengen to Grindelwald Station.

The hotel for my clients in Interlaken for the express option is not on the dropdown list, so can I have them leave the 2 pieces of luggage in the Lauterbrunnen train station luggage room for pickup?

The express luggage transfer is only possible between two addresses, not stations.

And, the service is not offered at car-free places.

Your clients are better off taking their luggage with them while doing the transfer - that’s not an issue with baggage with wheels.

I was given this answer a few days ago (see below). So I booked the transfer on SBB both hotels came up it and the system allowed me to book it.

You can book an express luggage transfer from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen without issues, as Lauterbrunnen is accessible by car. For Wengen, a car-free village accessible only by train or cable car, luggage transfers are typically managed through Swiss Railways (SBB). This means you can still book the transfer, as the service accounts for the unique transportation needs. For transferring from Wengen to Grindelwald Station, the SBB service handles the logistics via train. Confirm with the service provider or book directly through SBB to ensure smooth transfers.
