Buy Lindt Museum tickets with SBB

Unfortunately, the Lindt museum website shows tickets are over.

Can I buy the museum tickets via SBB if I plan to eventually hold a 24-hour ZVV ticket? Would it then be with the discount (10% for the museum) or without the discount? Or do I need to combine it with a ticket from the SBB only. In the other discount cards, what are the valid cards/passes one can combine it with? Does it include the 24 hour ZVV ticket?

Plan: For example, arrive on Thursday night, get an all-zone ZVV ticket for 24 hours from the app or ticket machine once I arrive, and visit the museum on a Friday afternoon.

You can also purchase the admission from SBB without the public transport ticket. Simply select the second option (without public transportation).

The advantage of purchasing it from SBB is that you do not have to respect a specific check-in time; you can simply show up and enter the museum at your leisure.

It would then mean, I do not get the 10% discount which I would have otherwise I got with a public transport ticket, correct?
So does this mean, I cannot combine this ticket with a Zurich 24 hour public transport ticket?

Of course, you can purchase a 24hrs ticket right together with the museum entrance, see my example below:

Actually, I was looking for an all-zone 24 hour ticket. Also, the ticket starts on Day T, and ends on T+1 (next day, 24th hour), and I visit the museum on T+1 day. How is it known if the museum has to be visited on Day T or T+1, and how do I change this to an all-zone ticket?

Or can I do this (please check screenshot below):

Assuming I get an all-zone 24 hour ticket from the vending machine, would this fall under the “other ticket to destination” although not bought on the SBB website? Can I then use the 10% discount to the museum as well as shown in the screenshot?

For others who stumble upon this web page, here’s an update.

As mentioned in the conversations above, I managed to purchase a couple of tickets from the SBB website, and coupled it with the Zurich 24 hour pass 🙂 The museum visit was a smooth one as well!
