Baggage storage is available at one end of each compartment, but also under, above, and between the seats, and on platforms.
We suggest to travel light-weight, as the bagagge space is limited and it will also facilitate transfers between trains.
Daily, thousands of tourists use the Swiss trains for travel. You will be fine as well, certainly.
