Refundable tickets for Schengen VISA application

Hi, I’m applying for a Schengen VISA and as I travel between Switzerland and Italy, I need to provide the transportation tickets between Switzerland and Italy. I plan to travel by train. I read from the website that certain ticket types offer refund. How does that work? Can I get 100% refund if my VISA application is rejected?

Are you certain that you need to provide bookings for ground transportation? This is normally not required.

Some tickets indeed are refundable. To find out just read the conditions attached to them. You will see that when you start a booking.

Krist Yes. This is one item in the checklist. Although as I read it, it only mentions the routes. But I heard from some people that tickets are needed.

When is your trip? You may not even be able to get train tickets. Train travel is not like air travel. It is mass transit. Are you planning on also submitting all your intended subway trips?

Krist it will be in May. I only need transport tickets between countries. Within countries is not required.
