I have an issue regarding the SwissPass Halbtax. I just realized yesterday that I forgot to cancel my SwissPass Halbtax for the next year. I really did not have any idea about it. I used it last year for half a year because I was working in Switzerland but living in Germany and then I though it was gonna be cancelled automatically if I don’t renew it myself.
I really did not know about it because I moved from Germany in October last year to another country and I did not know if I receive any post from SBB. According to their site, I was supposed to cancel it towards the end of January but, unfortunately, I was very sick the whole month and I had no idea about it. I just saw an e-mail from them yesterday regarding the payment.
Is it possible to cancel it also now? I will not use it anymore since I am gone from both Germany and Switzerland and also, I really cannot afford to pay the whole Abo. Do you know if it is possible to cancel it now, even if I pay just a small fine?
