Bicycle tickets

I have bought tickets between Geneva and Mainz in Germany for myself plus a bike on the DB website. The ticket includes bike reservations for the trains that require reservations. Do I need to buy a bike day pass for the travel in Switzerland. There was no mention on Deutsche Bahn about needing to buy an extra bike ticket.

Firstly, welcome to the SBB Community.

If your ticket is for an adult and a bike., then you are all set. I doubt that your ticket includes the bike reservations for Switzerland. It’s a pity - our crystal ball is off duty. You might want revealing your travel plans and travel dates for better advice?

We Swiss do love niceties. A hello before asking a question is very much appreciated; you will be recognised as a respectful person.

RolandP Hello Roland! Thank you so much for your reply and many apologies that I did not open with a hello but dived straight into my question. I am travelling from Genève, changing in Bern and then direct to Mainz. You are quite correct that my ticket does not include bike reservations for the Geneve to Bern leg but I have checked on the SBB site and you cannot reserve bike spaces on the train I have chosen between Geneve and Bern so that seems fine. I have bike reservation spots between Bern and Mainz. My ticket from Deutsche Bahn says that it is valid for 2 passengers and 2 bikes so I imagine that does include the bike tickets required for Switzerland and Germany. I am happy that I have the reservations that I need but not quite sure about the ticket side of things. Any help or reassurance would be welcome! Thank you for your help…
