Good morning, I would like to know if the Swiss Day Pass card includes the transfers: Tirano-St. Moritz, St. Moritz-Chur, and Chur-Zurich in one day. Do I need to book each route? Thank you very much.

Yes, Saver Day Passes include these routes. You need mandatory seat reservations only if you take a Bernina Express train in the panoramic cars. For other trains, no seat reservations are recommended or possible.

You probably the Saver Day Pass.
You don’t ‘book’ a route when buying a ticket, you pay an admission fee for the transportation service and the ticket is the proof for that.

Note that the Bernina Express (marked as PE in the timetable) has a few regular coaches attached without reservation. The latter give you the flexibility to e.g. interrupt the journey at Alp Grüm or at the Bernina Pass and take the following train, something those pitiable folks with their reserved seats in the panoramic cars can’t do.

Thank you very much for your answers. Since there are also trains on the line that do exactly the same route and a little faster, there is no point in taking the bernina express. I would like the windows to open. With the saver day pass (52 CHF, if we are talking about the same thing) I can also make stops, right? It lasts 1 whole day and I get unlimited trains. Right?

Right and right.
Stops are also possible with any regular (e.g. point-to-point) ticket, as long as you don’t overrun the ticket validity period.

BTW a Saver Day Pass is also valid on public transport (bus, tram) in Zurich.

However, it is not possible to give a price, it could change every day. Be sure to choose the full price if you don’t have a Half Fare Card/Travelcard.

Also note the tradeoff that a SDP will not be refunded in case of a change of your plans (unless you have a medical certificate confirming an inability to travel)

A point-to-point ticket is the typical standard ticket for longer distances, fully refundable until just before its validity starts,
As the name suggests, it is valid only on the (selected) route mentioned on it (sometimes an alternate routing is available), as opposed to the SDP which is valid on the entire public transport network. Therefore r.g. arbitrary local buses at the destination city are not included in a p2p ticket, unless an optional city ticket option is added.

Good evening, could you tell me what the difference is between the following trains? from Tirano to San Mortiz: RE9, R19, B 707 and PE?
I don’t want to take the bernina express. I want to take a regular train that is faster and has windows that open!

You can take RE9 (Regional Express) or R19 (Regional) trains.

PE (Panoramic Express) are the Bernina Express trains and B 707 are buses.

Note that you do not need to avoid the Bernina Express trains. You can travel on them without needing a reservation. Just sit in the front 2 or 3 cars, which are the same as run on the RE and R services.

It is valid on all public transit. And “all” has the usual meaning here :-)
