Saver Day Pass

I am flying into Zurich on 19th March and catching a train to Scuol-Terasp. There is a significant savings with a Saver Day Pass. I cannot give the exact train time to book a train as there may be delays in the airport. I will definitely be travelling on this day. Would I be able to use this ticket for any train or is it for specific train times.

The Saver’s Daypass is valid on any train, bus, tram, etc. in Switzerland on the booked day. It is only the Supersaver’s ticket which limits you to a specific connection. So yes, the saver’s daypass is currently the best option.
The saver’s daypass currently costs 52.- in the second and 97.- in the first class, whilst a regular point-to-point ticket (also valid on all connections) costs 73.- in the second and 125.- in the first class.

Be sure to buy a full price saver day pass, sometimes the price with half fare travelcard is first displayed. Indicate that you have no discount when you add the passenger, Your physical passport or ID card may be checked in the train.

Just note that in case of any change in your travel plans, the Saver Day Pass is NOT refundable, while a point-to-point ticket can be cancelled/fully refunded until midnight before the travel date (= start of ticket validity).
Also, that cancellation/refund process is much easier as a registered user.

No, you can buy it as a guest on the sbb website. You will get an e-mail with a QR-code. You can either just show that QR-Code or you can print it out and take it with you. The latter is recommended, as a paper printout doesn’t need a wifi connection or battery in your phone to work.
