Hello everyone,
I will be travelling and visiting Switzerland for a week at the end of the month. Very excited.
I land in Geneva and plan to visit Bern, Lucerne & Zurich, as well as possibly other places depending. I did some research and it seemed like getting a Swiss travel pass for the time I am visiting was the best/easiest option for me to cover any bus/train travel.
I have pre-paid for my travel pass and also downloaded the SBB mobile app. My travel pass is showing up in the app and it all seems good to go, however there is one thing I am slightly confused on that I wanted to ask about to be safe.
On the app, the “Tickets & Travelcards” tab that shows my Travel Pass also says something about a “SwissPass” and how my SwissPass account is not linked to my SwissPass card. Tapping to add a Swisspass card prompts me to enter a customer no. and some other details. As far as I can tell there is no customer no. on my travel pass or SBB account.
My assumption is that this SwissPass is something seperate from the Travel Pass and I don’t need to worry about it, but I thought I should ask just to be safe if it is something I need to sort out?
Many thanks,
