Swiss Travel Pass Validity

Hi, I will be travelling in Switzerland from 4 November 2022 to 12 November 2022. I will be activating 8 days Swiss Travel Pass on 4 November 2022. On 12 November 2022, I will be travelling from Interlaken Ost station to Zurich Airport on the earliest train at 4.58am. There will be a change at Bern station at 6am. May I know if the train journey from Interlaken Ost to Zurich Airport on 12 November 2022 (including the change at Bern) will be covered by my days Swiss Travel Pass?

No, the validity of your STP ends on 12 November 5:00 AM. You have to buy a ticket for the travel to the airport. I suggest your are looking at a Saver Day Pass (from CHF 52) or a Full Fare Ticket (CHF 74.00), what ever is cheaper.

Note: currently, there is a promotion for the 4 days Swiss Travel Pass at CHF 139. You could buy two of them instead of a 8 day pass:

Hi RolandP,

I have a semilar situation as lin1. I am going switzerland on the 18th @5pm and leaving on the 22th @6pm. When I buy the 4 day pass, should I buy for the 19th so that it can travel until the 22th at 6pm?
