Point-to-point ticket

Dear all,

I would like to know how the validity of a Point-to-point ticket works.
If a buy Point-to-point ticket from point A to B at 12.45, and I ended up arriving to the station al 13.45, could I use that ticket? Or do I have to buy another one?

Thank you for your inquiry.

Point-to-Point tickets are valid for the calendar day specified at the time of purchase. If you do not start your return journey on the same day or by 5am of the following day, please buy one one-way ticket for each route. Important: If you buy an super saver ticket, this is train-dependent.

If you buy an regional ticket for individual zones, the ticket is valid as long as it says on it. If you reach the destination station outside the validity period, you must buy a new ticket.
