Dear SBB team,

I have a question about the ticket called “point to point”.

In the description of the ticket it says: “one way, return or round trip in Switzerland. Valid 1 calendar day until 5:00 am. Reduced fare with Half- Fare travel card”

What does this mean:

1. That I can book ticket examp. one way from Geneva-via Lausanne-Zurich. And then, using same ticket I bought I can come back to Geneva using same way I came. (Zurich via Lausanne- Geneva) on the same day until 5:00 am?

2. It is just one way ticket point to point Exampl. From Geneva via Lausanne- Zurich.

A one way point-to-point ticket allows you to go from point A to point B stopping as many times as you need, as long as you stick to your chosen route.

Ex. Geneva-via Lausanne-Zurich: You start your journey in Geneva, then you stop in Lausanne for a nice walk around the lake and by noon you are in Zürich.

If you return to Geneva later the same day, you will need a second point-to-point ticket from point B to point A.

Another option, is a day pass, which gives you the option of traveling wherever you want in Switzerland using the public transports during one day.
