Hi ivy88
A one way point-to-point ticket allows you to go from point A to point B stopping as many times as you need, as long as you stick to your chosen route.
Ex. Geneva-via Lausanne-Zurich: You start your journey in Geneva, then you stop in Lausanne for a nice walk around the lake and by noon you are in Zürich.
If you return to Geneva later the same day, you will need a second point-to-point ticket from point B to point A.
Another option, is a day pass, which gives you the option of traveling wherever you want in Switzerland using the public transports during one day.
If you have further questions and if you want to be advised individually about a particular route, please call our Contact Center 0041 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/Min). If you are calling from abroad and this number doesn’t work, please try 0041 51 225 78 00.
Have a nice day. EllenvS.
