Do I understand correctly that I must buy a Half Fare Travelcard (approx 190 chf) on top of the Half Fare Travelcard Plus to benefit from the half fare? Just paying from the Half Fare Travelcard Plus credits doesn’t qualify for the half fare.
In that sense, the only benefit is the Bonus, if, and only if, I manage to use up the regular credits within a year.
I saw the note “half fare travelcard not included” but I wasn’t sure if you were referring to the half fare travel card as a service, or as a cost for obtaining a physical card, similar to other public transport systems in other countries, who charge a fee or deposit for the physical card itself.
I am living abroad in Asia and only use SBB a few times a year, palerhaps a total of 10 days per year, one ride per day. I assume the Travelcard Half Fare Plus isn’t for me, correct?
